Emergency Dental

A sudden toothache, broken tooth or a dental mishap can be distressing and debilitating. That’s why we set aside time on our daily schedule to attend to your dental emergencies.

We aim to alleviate your pain and stabilise your condition so that you can return to your routine as soon as possible.

Immediate management when a tooth is knocked out

Stay calm

If a tooth is knocked out, find the tooth. Hold the tooth by the crown (white part) and avoid touching the root.

If it is a baby tooth, do not put the tooth back in the mouth.

If it is an adult tooth,

  • Rinse gently: Rinse the tooth with milk or saline solution (not water) to remove the dirt.
  • Put the tooth back in the mouth if you can (within 15 minutes)
  • You can ask the child to hold or bite softly on a cloth to hold the tooth in place.
  • If you can’t place the tooth back, store it in a container with milk.
  • Seek dental care immediately.
