We provide a child friendly atmosphere offering children a choice of DVDs, cool sunnies and a prize at the end of their consultation. With most of our staff being parents themselves our team genuinely understand the needs of treating kids.

The Child Benefits Schedule (CDBS) is an Australian Government initiative providing dental treatment for children aged from 2 to 17.

The benefit is capped at $1095 over a 2 yr calendar period. Eligibility is determined every calendar year by Medicare.

We understand that protecting your children’s health and well-being is your top priority. With children, The Lakes Family Dental team concentrate on prevention, early detection, and conservative treatment.

This new scheme allows your family to follow that preventative principle. Teaching children from a young age how to look after their dentition and avoid dental problems in the future is of utmost importance.

The Lakes Family Dental is not bulk billing this scheme. We do require full payment on the day of treatment. If you have your bank details registered with Medicare we are able to claim on your behalf directly with Medicare. The Medicare rebate will then go immediately back into your account on the day.
